Order Confirmation

The inquiry form is not used to place an order. All orders receive confirmation via email. If you do not receive order confirmation after paying your invoice, your order has not been accepted. 

Changes to Your Order

Once you submit and pay for your order, you have 6 hours to modify, change or cancel it. You must send an email directly to info@simpsonhousebakeshop.com to update. 

Deposit

All deposits are nonrefundable. There are no exceptions. 

Shipping

We currently do not ship any of our dessert items. 

Vendor Packages

Custom, local vendor packages are available. Please send your business name and social media handle to info@simpsonhousebakeshop.com to request the package pricing information.

Dessert Storage

All dessert items must be refrigerated over night.

Transporting Your Order

Custom cakes and all treats should be stored on a completely flat surface for safe transportation. For pick up orders, once the cake leaves our premises, you are responsible for transporting it to the designated destination. We are not responsible for damages to the cake during client transportation or upon self set up at your event. 

Serving Your Cake

Custom cakes can be a breeze to cut and serve. Please consider the following recommendations:

  • Disassemble your cake before cutting. This includes removing decor, separating tiers and removing inedible structural supports. 

  • Have a large, sharp knife and gloves ready. Utilize a cutting board or large plate to cut your cake. A glass of hot water and a towel will ensure clean slicing. 

  • Check out this video in our Instagram reels for an example of how to correctly cut your cake to achieve the correct amount of servings. 

Pick Up and Delivery

We are an appointment only business. We are not a storefront, nor do we accept walk ins. All appointments are confirmed upon consultation. We offer complimentary delivery to Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, and Maryville. Delivery to the St. Louis Metropolitan area starts at $25.  

Refund Policy

Simpson House Bake Shop does not offer refunds for any reason. Please contact Stephanie directly at info@simpsonhousebakeshop.com for assistance with a past order. 

Nut Allergy Information

All Simpson House Bake Shop products are prepared in a nut friendly kitchen. While we do our best to ensure that products not containing nuts don't come in contact with nuts, they are still present in the baking and design space. Simpson House LLC is not liable for any allergic reactions to any product produced in the studio. 

Cottage Food Operation

Simpson House Bake Shop products are produced in a home kitchen not inspected by a health department that may also process common food allergens. If you have safety concerns, contact your local health department. CFO Number T119-0008
